Is That SO Wrong?

One of the reasons I like training for races so much is because it’s a no fail way I’ll get my cardio in. I love racing, and I love running, and it’s nice to camouflage “exercise” with these feelings.

Whenever eating a dish that I really like, eloquent adjectives like “divine, lovely, or exquisitenever come to mind. Freaking delicious are my most common descriptor words.

Although I’m only 25 and a half, I much prefer a movie and wine night in than a wild night out at the bar.

I become an extremely judgmental person once I step foot in Wal-Mart. It’s like I’m a different person.

Is that so wrong? heh

I rarely post about dessert, but I have it almost every single night.

If the Food Pyramid tried making peanut butter filled pretzels a food group, I wouldn’t stand in its way…

Or chocolate covered banana chips, for that matter.

Over the past month and a half, I’ve noticed my clothes have gotten a little snugger…and I blame the beginners wine class the husband and I attended:

I am a personal trainer, but I have a strong distaste for shows like Biggest Loser and Thintervention (I know, I know)

I sometimes pretend like my husband is a vegetarian, too, and show it by feeding him meat-free meals the entire week.

And lastly, I love my body, and I wouldn’t change one thing about it! It’s done so many great things for me and I love that it’s tall, strong, slim, and curvy and the same time!

Happy National Love Your Body Day! 😀

What do you do that makes you you that “is so wrong?”

Why do you love your body? Check out last year’s post on National Love Your Body Day, when I talked about how my view has changed about my body – what I used to hate, now I love!

  1. Great post!!! I too prefer a night in with friends than wild partying and love to workout. Bugs me that everyone makes it sound so awful

  2. What a freaking adorable post 🙂 I am a little bit of a grandma too…I much prefer staying in or going to dinner with just a few friends rather than a blow out night! And don’t get me started about walmart

  3. ohhh i LOVE this post! im the same way when it comes to wallyworld. and holy cow they have choc covered nanner chips? delish!

is it so wrong that i eat weird combos of food?? nawww 😉

  4. I LOVE your post. Great topic. I’ve been celebrating Love Your Body Day, too. I started with a bike ride this morning which I had trouble getting into but I did it anyway. All day I’ve remembered to do what’s best for me and it’s worked. I’m leaving work with much more energy than I came with. Looking forward to continuing to read about your adventures. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. Somedays i sleep in till noon, and don’t shower (DO brush my teeth) and don’t take off my Pj’s alll day : )

  6. “Freaking delicious” is what comes to mind for me too…hahaha. “Divine,” is for when I’m watching Paula Deen do her thing.

I’d have to say the thing I love about me is that I can’t help my total inability to stay away from candy corn. It’s unreal.

    It is not wrong 🙂

  7. Great post, Paige!
Sometimes I make all of my snacks and meals for the day breakfast-themed, because I love breakfast foods so much. Breakfast, lunch and brinner. Is that so wrong? 🙂

  8. i LOVE this post. i describe food so casually too. like either capital letters or wanna be cuss words = soo fluffing good, for example. what am i, 5? i too crave nights in, but while i’m single, this doesn’t help my social life. haha. and yes, walmart is a scarrrryyyyy place. (look, another way i describe things – multiple letters. geez.)

  9. Great post! Like you, I would rather stay in. And love that signing up for races keeps me motivated!

  10. Great post. Once college was over I was way more interested in having get together’s at someone’s house vs. the bar. Maybe because I am cheap and going out to clubs/bars around here is so not worth the money to me between the expensive drinks, covers, and cab rides.

I am not a fan of Wal-Mart either. There’s just something about it. That and there is a Target on every corner here so why would I bother?

  11. “I sometimes pretend like my husband is a vegetarian, too, and show it by feeding him meat-free meals the entire week.” <——–Me too!!!! I don't mean to, but it just happens.

  12. Agree w/the point about running as guaranteed cardio, though I truly believe that I could more easily be motivated to bike than run.

Also agree w/not being a bar person, and I am also 25.5 (as of yesterday!).
