Nectarine Dream Smoothie

This smoothie is the ultimate fresh summer beverage for a hot and humid summer day. It’s super simple, organic, packed with protein, and most importantly delicious!

And the best part? You only need four ingredients!

  • 3-4 small organic nectarines
  • 1 c. of organic Oikos Greek yogurt
  • 2 c. ice
  • 2 T. sweetener of choice (I use Trader Joe’s organic blend – yum!)

Directions:

Chop the nectarine fruit away from the pit – try to get as much as you can off the pit. No peeling necessary!

Puree the nectarines in a food processor for about a minute or until smooth.

Pour the puree into a blender:

Add the remaining ingredients, and blend on high until smooth.

Note – those who have Vitamix blenders or an equally heavy duty blender could most likely skip just puree the fruit in the Vitamix.

That’s it! You’re done!

Now go enjoy one yourself for a delicious way to cool off! 🙂
